Eight-Element Probe Processes Multiple Samples Simultaneously

Booth 2723. The proprietary multi-element probe processes eight samples simultaneously in a microtiter plate. Unlike ultrasonic baths or microplate horns that act as ultrasonic baths, the tool delivers the intensity directly into the sample and not through the microplate walls where a large percentage of energy can be absorbed. The 20-kHz probe consists of a coupler and eight replaceable micro-tips, spaced 9 mm apart, which can be mounted onto a laboratory stand or incorporated into an automated X-Y positioning system to satisfy high-throughput requirements.
