Optical Tables Available in Five Performance Levels

Five basic performance levels are offered for proprietary vibration-damping optical tables, each customizable for specific applications. Constructed to exacting standards, the tables consistently provide flat, stiff, highly damped surfaces with high natural frequencies. They are available in sizes to 6 × 20 feet and in thickness to 36. All tables are Class 100 cleanroom compatible with Class 10 available. The ultimate performer, the 5300 Series, is suited for high precision applications, delivering optimal dynamic deflection and relative motion. It features quad-tuned plus broadband damping and superior rigidity and stability. Standard tabletops have a ferromagnetic stainless steel top skin, a carbon steel bottom skin and a proprietary epoxy-bonded honeycomb core. Furthermore, this core features the SPILLPRUF design, whereby entire rows of mounting holes are sealed to protect it from accidental spills and to simplify cleanup.
