The stable, sensitive and robust analytical system enables routine measurement of sulfur-containing compounds, including thiols, thioethers and disulfides. An electrochemical cell with a Boron doped diamond (BDD) working electrode provides sensitivity and durability while eliminating the problems—such as fouling, high background and mobile phase oxidation—associated with earlier ECD systems.
