Particle Size Analyzer Utilizes Dual-Wavelength Optical System

The Mastersizer 2000 particle size analyzer offers a range of sample dispersion accessories and an autosampler, allowing analysis of various wet and dry samples. Based on laser diffraction, it can measure particle size over a range of 0.02 to 2000 microns using a dual-wavelength optical system that allows the entire measurement range to be accessed without changes to the instrument configuration. Developed methods can be stored and later applied with a single-click operation, making the system suited for QC applications. Software-driven standard operating procedures ensure straightforward operation, allowing the instrument to be used with minimal training.
