UPLC Column Operates at Pressures to 50,000 psi
The high performance IsoBar column hardware satisfies the demands of UPLC. The all-metal construction combined with high-strength threaded end fittings enable the column to operate at pressures up to 50,000 psi and make it suited for <2-micron stationary phases. IsoBore internal surface finish reduces the wall effect and improves column efficiency. With UPLC, the column is typically packed at pressures exceeding two to three times the operating pressure of the system, making the stability of the column a critical performance factor. A range of diameters and lengths is available.
