Spectrometer Analyzes Common Elements in Metal

The SPECTROMAXx spectrometer provides rapid analysis of all common elements in metals. Replacing the previous model, the new device is more precise, faster, offers increased flexibility, and requires less maintenance. It can analyze Nitrogen levels in steel down to a level of 20 ppm. The instrument features an Argon Saver Mode to reduce costs by 40–60%, depending on sample throughput. Proprietary intelligent calibration logic, ICAL, has the ability to monitor system integrity and significantly reduce the need for recalibration samples. In addition, a readout system shaves seconds off the analysis time.
