Sulfur Analyzer Ties to Plant-Wide Automation Systems

The 6827T-HP online sulfur analyzer measures viscous hydrocarbon in crude lines, pipelines, terminals, and blending operations, and provides continuous sulfur detection at pressures up to 800 psig. It operates either as a stand-alone unit or is tied to plant-wide automation systems to provide real-time strategic measurements. Features include a fully integrated densitometer, automatic density compensation, touch-screen controls, password protection screens, and rapid update rates as frequent as 1 per second. An internal PLC operates and regulates the analyzer, as it monitors instrument parameters such as process temperature, density, and system diagnostics. It also includes alarms and a standard platform for communicating to a plant-wide DCS.
