Alloy Analyzer for Difficult-to-Analyze Surface Geometries

The MIDEX alloy analyzer features a tightly focused x-ray beam designed for difficult-to-analyze surface geometries. In addition to "spot" analyses, the micro-beam spectrometer can also be used for mapping-type applications by analyzing a number of points across a sample's surface. The unit features a low power, collimated x-ray beam that produces a measurement spot with a diameter of only 0.7 mm. This enables the instrument to be used for virtually any non-destructive alloy analysis task, including measurement of curved surfaces. Precise factory pre-configuration enables immediate "out of the box" analysis of all 80 elements from aluminum or uranium. Typical measurement times are less than 2 minutes, and typical accuracy of the instrument is ۪.15%.
