Low Pressure HPLC Provides Quaternary Operation
Q-Adept, a low pressure gradient HPLC system, offers ultimate gradient performance with dynamic mixing and multisolvent handling. Quaternary to binary as well as isocratic operation is provided with the flexibility of a compact modular system of minimal stack height. The dual piston pump with electronic feedback provides pulse-free solvent delivery with low delay volume. Heated/chilled and heated ovens each accommodate three columns, pre-columns and a heat exchanger that avoids column temperature gradients. Used with the WaveQuest ultra-fast scanning dynamic absorbance detector (DAD), the system requires only one elution to both scan and measure low concentration eluting peaks, reducing experimental time by a factor of two. Spectral storage, library search and match factors are all available. The low drift of the detector saves the cost of an extra variable wavelength detector.
