Controlled via an RS 232 interface, the module has a loading shutter that opens and closes under software control, and an automatic homing position to facilitate robotic access. Accommodating 1 or 2 microplates, deep well plates or gel cards, it operates quietly, with minimal vibration. Advanced safety features ensure that the unit stops if the rotor is unbalanced.
